This event had been an excellent opportunity for Academicians, Educational Leaders (Principals, Coordinators/Supervisors, HODs, Deans), Teachers (Assistant/Associate/Professors,School Teachers (K-12)), Curriculum Developers, Edupreneurs, Researcher Scholars, those pursuing B.Ed./M.Ed./M.A. Education/M.Phil.l/PhD, and anyone else interested and passionate about education.
Konnekt2k22 a 2 – day event hosted by Rahul college of Education under Rahul Education. The College is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. Our goal is to bring people from the educational community together to inspire them about what we wish to contribute as an active teaching community invested in lifelong learning. Through such a program, we hoped to achieve a broader goal of opening new dimensions to educational endeavours. We want to provoke discussion about recent educational trends and raise awareness about constant improvement in one’s practice.It has been an excellent opportunity for lifelong learning.

Prof. (Dr.) Neharika Vohra,VC Delhi Skills University and Professor IIM Ahmedabad. has completed her PhD in Psychology from University of Manitoba. Prof. (Dr.) Vohra is a specialist in behavioral science and on leave from IIM Ahmedabad, where she served as Professor in the Organizational Behavior area for 21 years. She has been involved in the Centre for Innovation and Incubation in Entrepreneurship at IIM Ahmedabad and is currently the Director of the Centre. She has extensive experience with the corporate sector as a consultant, coach, mentor and independent director. She has won the best instructor award and has been the Chairperson of IIM Ahmedabad’s Doctoral Program (Fellow Program in Management), editor of Vikalpa, on the editorial board of several international journals. She has published over 70 peer-reviewed research papers in top-level international and national journals and authored 3 books and developed teaching material that is used in several countries. She has guided 12 PhD students at IIMA and has been an academic advisor in five national-level educational institutions.

Ms. Nivedita works as the Senior Education Manager for Cambridge International. Her role involves strategic planning and development of new PDQ qualifications for teachers and leaders. Prior to this she was – Senior Education Manager -South Asia for Cambridge International. Her role involved strategic planning and execution of training and supporting wider teaching and learning activities for schools in the region. She also worked closely with the global teams on various educational initiatives. Prior to Joining Cambridge, Nivedita was a Chemistry teacher and head of Professional Development in prestigious schools in New Delhi. Her areas of expertise include Pedagogy and Quality Assessment, Professional Development, School Improvement, Planning and Strategy and Community Engagement. She likes going to the mountains and listening to Indian music.

Ms.Sara Kakonen, specialist in customer projects training the teachers to create VR and AR exercises. At 3D Bear she specialized in customer projects – training the teachers to create VR and AR exercises by themselves and ensuring excellent outcomes from the projects. Her background is in business studies and marketing and she is responsible for 3DBear’s marketing in Finland. She has a wide experience of customer relationship management from many sectors. Her key strength is ensuring superior customer experience.

Mr. Matthew Davidson, Head of International Market Development and Curriculum-Oxford Press. Mr. Matthew Davidson, has nearly 20 years’ experience in international educational and publishing, first working as a teacher and later having worked in publishing, heading up English Language Teaching (ELT) materials and English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) resources. His work includes the delivery of an integrated ELT + Reading Literacy Scheme for the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as leading several publishing projects from conceptualization and market research to development and delivery. Mr. Matthew has headed up piloting of materials, various ministry customization projects and shaped and led professional development training with colleagues both locally in the region and in the UK. Mr. Matthew is now leading a cross-functional publishing team dedicated to publishing market leading curriculum resources in English, with specialised focus on fostering wellbeing, developing global skills and delivering project-based learning (PBL).

Ms. Tanya Valecha, Head Principal, Rustomjee Cambridge International School Group of Schools. Group Principal at Rustomjee Cambridge International School and Junior College ,an International school, offering IGCSE and A Levels ,affiliated to CIE, UK. Leading team of 400 plus teachers and 4500 students with branches at Dahisar, Thane and Virar. Under her leadership, the school has featured in top 20 International schools across the country for 2013, 2014 , 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. She has featured in Education World, awarded – 100 most influential Principals in the country -2016. Her school ranked 8th in the state by Education World and Education Today – 2016. Guided school to win ISA award. Worked for British Council for ISA evaluations, selected as a Cambridge Trainer for India by CIE Professional Development team, groomed and developed an entire team of teachers -including the school head for setting up Rustomjee Cambridge at Virar and Thane, over and above complete academic guidance. Awarded the Global Teacher Accreditation, British council, with commendation for research on Bullying in Classrooms, 2014. Developed an online learning module for English at grade 10 after completing COURSERA blended learning module. Experience of teaching at the Pre Primary levels as well as the Secondary Levels with English and Economics as the subjects of specialisation. Interested in interacting with individuals who can add value to my students and my learning. Specialises in Administration, Interaction and networking with parents, Teacher Training and Leadership management.

Ms. Kavita Sanghvi, Principal, Chatrabhuj Narsee Memorial (CNM) School. Ms.Kavita Sanghvi holds a Master’s in Physics, a Master in Education, a Master in Philosophy of Education, and a CAEL [Certificate in Advanced Course in Educational Leadership] .Diploma from Harvard University. She presently heads SVKM’s CNM School, in Mumbai. She is a National Awardee 2022, Teach SDG’s Ambassador, Climate Action Ambassador, and Scientix Ambassador for India. She has conducted many action researches and was awarded the ‘Global Teacher Accreditation’ by British Council in 2014. She is a British Council Trainer and Ambassador. In 2021, she gave a talk on Blended learning in the Teacher Connect Mela. She is a member of the Cambridge South Asia Advisory Board [F.Y. 21-22]. In 2021, she received a CBE Master Trainer and Mentor Certificate from British Council, CBSE and Cambridge jointly. In 2016, she was nominated as Top 50 teachers by Varkey Foundation for the Global Teacher Prize award. In 2020, she was awarded, ‘Iconic Principal’ by the Governor of Maharashtra.
